Everything you need to know about pulling the trigger and finally making the move overeas without the headache, stress, confusion, and unnecessary expenses that most expats deal with
Welcome to the Blog
My name is Nick, I’m a digital nomad originally from Michigan, USA.
I’ve been living in Latin America on and off for the past 5 years, and it has opened a whole new world of possibilities.
You see, I used to believe that you needed to become a multimillionaire in order to be able to live a free life. To gain the ability to wake up when you want to, travel when you want, and even to have success in dating. In places like Paraguay that's not a dream, but the reality of many foreigners.
Freedom of time was always something that I sought through financial independence. But after traveling around Latin America and choosing Paraguay as my home base, I’ve learned that you really only need to make about $1500/month to live the equivalent lifestyle that $4000-5000 would buy you back home. And if you really need to bootstrap, it is possible to live down here on $600/month.
If that doesn’t catch your attention how about…
. 0% income tax
. Affordable home ownership
. A boost in social status/ dating market
. Freedom from petty lawsuits and the overreaching hand of the government
. A fascinating network of people from all over the world
. Organic, non GMO food, that is cheaper than most junk food.
. A safe and self sustaining region of the world in the event of a global crisis
. Financial independence at a fraction of what you thought possible
. Early retirement
These are just a few of the reasons why I have relocated to Latin America (specifically Paraguay)
Many blogs will try to sell you on the why, but they don’t go into the how

Everything from residencies, real estate, international tax planning, travel tips, credit cards, medical care, cheap flights, getting a second passport language, adapting to a new culture, and more.
So let’s get started…
